Shinjiru: Japan Relief Taiko Concert

Event Description

"Shinjiru: Japan Relief Taiko Concert" brings to you Seattle's most notable taiko groups under one roof for a spectacular evening of traditional Japanese music. Come and see performances featuring:

One World Taiko, Seattle Matsuri Taiko, Inochi Taiko, Northwest Taiko, Kaze Daiko, Seattle Kokon Taiko

Tickets may be purchased by the general public for $20. Anyone with a current UW ID may purchase the tickets online and then present their ticket with UW ID at the door on the day of the concert to receive a $3 rebate.

 

Procedes will go towards Thunderbird: Regional Disaster Support and Welfare Network System (http://www.thunderbird-net.jp/), and directly to the local governments of Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures.

Doors open at 4:30pm.
